For all of you existing members thank you for your support, for non-members, please join our association. You can find an application here, "on-line". Presently there are over 1,000 City of Hialeah retirees, with a retirement rate of growth of over 75 per year.

Our association the "AHRME" is a state licensed "Not for Profit" Corporation comprised of fire, police and general retired employees. We have over 225 members but are still short of total participation.

As an association we would like to hear from each of you regarding how you are doing in retirement and any points of interest you may wish to share. For those of you who wish to join our association, dues are $24.00 per year. The Board has currently got permission from the City Of Hialeah Retirement Board for a payroll deduction for dues. Payroll deduction authorization forms were mailed out, the last week of May 04. It is very important each member fill out the authorization and mail it back. There also will be a form available on this site. The dues have been reduced to $2.00 a month payroll deduction, in the hopes of getting total participation. With total participation, The AHRME can march forward, with hopes of good things for all of the members. The Board and Bylaws Committee has completed the bylaws which will be available at future meetings and later on the website. Your AHRME Board would like this time to thank the City Of Hialeah Retirement Board for being so gracious, in allowing our organization to collect dues, with their support.
