We want you! Join the "AHRME" and help protect your interest in the Hialeah Pension System. Retired members have created a retirement association to give a voice to those of us who are retired from the City of Hialeah. A.H.R.M.E. is a registered non-profit corporation with legal counsel representation comprised of "General", "Fire" and "Police" retired employees. We have over 200 members but are still 800 retired employees short of total participation

The bond we shared on the job, and now in retirement, requires us to come together and face vital common problems, specifically, pension and insurance issues. As you well know, after we retire, it seems we have been forgotten. We need a strong, effective voice to represent our interest in the retirement system - A.H.R.M.E. is the answer!

There are over 1,000 retired City of Hialeah employees,with a retirement growth rate of over 75 retirees per year. This is a formidable number if we organize under A.H.R.M.E. . There is over $450 million dollars in our pension fund and as retired members we need a voice, when it comes to our pension.

Please, take the time to insure your future benefits and the future of your loved ones. Please complete the membership application today for payroll deduction authorizing $2.00 a month. Your dues and contributions are the life blood of our organization. They fund legal representation, mailings, membership drives, development of our web site and many other vital recurring operational expenses.

Currently, the City of Hialeah Retirement Board has graciously authorized a $2.00 monthly payroll deduction for  dues, for all members. We feel that much of the success of the pension fund is attributable to our direct individual and collective efforts as members of this pension system. We are entitled to share in its future rewards.
